The start of our 2009 gardening season with our St at imc friends at Seton Portage alsways involves opening up the irrigation ditches and planting this years crop. This is year two of our joint project with the St at imc community to revitalize the old time gardens in the community. You can see the tents of the volunteers just beyond the garden. Its a great way to meet people, have fun gardening and see an amazingly beautiful part of the region. Only a few metres away is the entrance to the 40 km long Lost Valley, Melvin Creek hiking trail, the gateway to the Cayoosh Range wilderness.
