2009 - Rancher opposition to proposed OK National Park

During the tour of the proposed OK National Park we came to this sign of opposition posted at the entranceway to a ranch. Some (not all) local ranchers oppose the designation of the National Park, because it would mean the end of their Crown Land Grazing Rights within the park, which they get at a highly subdidized rate. Ranchers impacted by the National Park, would recieve Crown Gazing Rights elsewhere, but some are still opposed to the park.
