2009 - Rattler motel in proposed OK National Park

During the June 2009 tour of the proposed Okanagan National Park, we came upon this rattlesnake in the northern portion of the proposal, near White Lake. It was resting in the drain hole of a concrete road barrier. Looking at all the drain holes I began to imagine a rattler in every  one - a kind of rattler motel 6. Seeing this icon of the OK grasslands made my day!
