For the next two nights the fate of the Juan de Fuca forest lands rests in your hands.
The Capital Regional District is hosting a public meeting on the proposed bylaw amendments to allow a 260 vacation home development smack dab in the middle of the Juan de Fuca forest lands - just metres away from the third most visited provincial park in the province.
We can not let this happen. This development could set a dangerous precedent and open the flood gates to urban sprawl in the Juan de Fuca forest lands.
We need you to come to a public meeting at 5pm at Edward Milne community school on Tuesday or Wednesday night. We need a big crowd, and lots of people to get up to the mic and speak about the proposal by Marine Trail Resort.
Please attend a meeting, and circulate this notice to your friends and family.
5:00-10:00pm
