This is part three of a three part, 27 minute video, of David Suzuki and a group of kids on a tour of the Wilderness Committee's Upper Carmanah Valley research station in 1990. The research station was constructed as part of the Wilderness Committee's campaign to see the entire Carmanah Valley protected as parkland. Today (2009) the Carmanah is part of the Carmanah Walbran Pacific Provincial Park.
I came from Spain to volunteer @ the Seton Portage Aboriginal Farm and Trail Project near Lillooet, BC. I spent my days either working on the Indian Reserve Community Farm, or helping re-open ancient First Nation Trails in the Wilderness. I intended to spend only 2 weeks but instead stayed for a month!
