This is part two of a two part, 17 minute, 1994 slideshow video tribute to the wilderness saving efforts of Randy Stoltmann. Randy had passed away at the age of 31 that year as a result of a ski-mountaineering accident in the Coast Range near the Kitlope Valley. Randy was a multi-talented visonary in the BC wilderness preservation movement whose ideas and work lead the way towards the protection of many wild places.
The Wilderness Committee is the most grassroots environmental organization I have ever encountered. I have taken part in several projects where volunteers were in charge and staff in a support role. It's very empowering, and I have also made friends for life.
