This is part three of a three part, 30 minute, 1995 video about the Wilderness Committee's campaign to save the Stoltmann Wilderness, located north of Squamish, BC. The Stoltmann Wilderness is comprised of a series of adjoining unlogged watersheds, including the Sims, Clendenning, Upper Elaho and Upper Lillooet river drainages. Though the fight went on for many years, this video is only about the period around 1995. Some important forests were lost to logging, however by 2008 all of the above named river valleys had gained some sort of legislative protection and are now all off-limits to logging forever.
