This is a short TV news story from 2000 about a logging operation in Clayoquot Sound that has the support of environmentalists. That's because the First Nations owned logging company Iisaak, has agreed to stay out of the pristine areas of forest in Clayoquot and to seletively log, not clearcut.
This organization is admirable in its committment to protection of these sacred wild spaces and in its effective and respectful collaboration with Native people and other environmental groups. I would highly encourage others to get involved with this amazing organization !
