2004 Cathedral Grove parking lot TV news story

This is a 2004 TV news story about the BC government's attempt to clear an area beside Cathedral Grove in MacMillan Provincial Park for a parking lot.

The Wilderness Committee's Mid-Vancouver-Island Chapter opposed the parking lot plans - as did a growing number of individuals and organizations. Eventually the parking lot plan was scrapped and as of today (2009) there is no more talk of a parking lot from the BC government.
