This is a 2007 interview with the Wilderness Committee's Joe Foy. In this short interview Joe answers various questions about the definition between an old growth forest and a second growth forest plantation as well as a rejuvinated forest after a forest fire.
The Wilderness Committee is the most grassroots environmental organization I have ever encountered. I have taken part in several projects where volunteers were in charge and staff in a support role. It's very empowering, and I have also made friends for life.
