2009 Dinosaurs Against Fossil Fuels visit opening of Golden Ears freeway bridge
Sunday, June 14, 2009 (All day)
It seems that dinosaus don't like the BC provincial government's freeway building binge, called the Gateway Program. The Dinosaurs Against Fossil Fuels attended the opening celebration for the new Golden Ears freeway bridge on June 14, 2009. Their key message: Burning tar sands oil in your cars is cooking the planet, and new freeways are the fast route to extinction due to global warming.
Being around like-minded individuals who are willing to volunteer their time for an organization that, year after year, achieves incredible results is not only fun, but also a great opportunity to learn and grow!
