Take a walk in an old growth forest to celebrate mid-summer! Meet the Catchacoma Old Growth Forest summer researchers and learn about the species they are documenting.

What: Guided Nature Hike

When: Sunday July 31st, 1PM-4PM

Where: Catchacoma Forest trail head, on County Rd. 507, Trent Lakes ON

Accessibility:

  • While we strive to make this a family-friendly event, unfortunately the trails are not stroller or wheelchair accessible.
  • The hike will be approx. 3.5 km in total on rough terrain.
  • Ages 6+ recommended.
  • There are no washrooms on site.

We respectfully and gratefully acknowledge that the Catchacoma Forest is located on
Treaty 20 Michi Saagiig territory and in the traditional territory of the Michi
Saagiig and Chippewa Nations. They are collectively known as the Williams Treaties First Nations, which include: Curve Lake, Hiawatha, Alderville, Scugog Island, Rama, Beausoleil, and Georgina Island First Nations.
