Old-Growth Info Night

What’s up in the woods? Come and talk about the fight to protect ancient forests!

For the first time in a long time, there’s some hope for old-growth forests in BC. With new funding to protect both old-growth and biodiversity, now is a crucial time for us to fight for nature and ensure the government follows through on its promises before it’s too late.

On Thursday, Nov. 30 at 6 pm at the Wilderness Committee’s downtown Victoria office, join us to talk about what all the new developments on old-growth forests really mean, the next steps, and how you can take action.

Associate Director Torrance Coste will give an update and analysis on recent news, then there will be plenty of time to mingle and chat and learn more about our work.

Snacks and beverages will be provided — the evening will be one part update, and one part appreciation of you: our supporters who make our work possible!
