TransCanada’s proposed Energy East pipeline will carry crude oil for 400 kilometres across Manitoba. The Wilderness Committee, the Manitoba Eco-Network and Climate Change Connection are hosting a public forum and panel discussion to learn more about this major proposal.

Panelists include:

• Wab Kinew, broadcaster and interim Assoc. VP for Indigenous Relations at the University of Winnipeg
• Dennis LeNeveu, retired biophysicist
• James Magnus-Johnston, political economist at the Canadian Mennonite University
• Ian Mauro, Associate Professor, Dept. of Geography, University of Winnipeg
