Old-growth forests need permanent protection now but the people in power are notably silent, and even backstepping, on the issue. 

Before the recent B.C. election, we gained some considerable conservation financing and localized wins, but these precious ecosystems are still being destroyed. We won’t let the silence and regression of those in power go unchallenged.

While they waffle on protecting old-growth, we’ll eat waffles outside the Minister of Forest’s constituency office and make our collective demands heard. We’ll celebrate the persistence of people to ensure forests, and the communities that rely on them, are safeguarded.
