Walk The Line Wilderness Witness Tour

 

Come Walk the Line with us this spring!

 

On April 16 come explore the sand hills and oak-aspen mixed-grass prairie of the Whitemud Wildlife Management Area, and discuss how TransCanada's proposed Energy East tar sands pipeline will put this area at risk.

 

The hike will be 10 kilometers in open terrain, with many ups and downs that provide constantly changing views of this unique patch of Manitoba.

What: A 10 km hike along the Energy East pipeline route. Lunch will be provided.

When: Saturday, April 16, 10:30am-4:30pm

Where: Whitemud Wildlife Management Area, 170 km west of Winnipeg.

How: Registration has been extended to Thursday, April 14 at 12 noon.
Cost is $10.00 and must be paid by that time. Carpooling and rides will be organized by the Wilderness Committee.
