West Vancouver Tanker Town Hall Meeting

The Wilderness Committee and Tanker Free BC are hosting a town hall meeting to raise awareness and answer residents' questions about Kinder Morgan's new Trans Mountain Pipeline proposal and the associated crude oil tanker traffic.

West Vancouver is just one of many communities that would be affected by the massive increase in tanker traffic that this pipeline proposal would bring to the Salish Sea. Municipal leaders have already expressed concern about potential impacts, with West Vancouver council passing a motion to oppose the project. This meeting will be a chance for local residents to speak up and raise their own concerns, and to learn about ways to take action.
