2013 Wilderness Committee Calendars Now Available!
We’re very excited to announce that our 2013 Endangered Wilderness and Endangered Wildlife Calendars have finally arrived!
The Wilderness Committee has been producing these popular calendars for over 30 years, with spectacular images of threatened wild places and species gracing the walls of Canadian homes for more than a generation.
The 2013 Canada’s Endangered Wilderness Calendar includes images from the threatened Peace Athabasca Delta, Fish Lake, Bow Valley, Heart of the Boreal and the Walker Rainforest Wilderness.
The 2013 Canada’s Endangered Wildlife Calendar features cherished creatures in need of habitat protection, including the elusive narwhal, the greater sage-grouse, the pine marten and the short-tailed albatross.
The price of each calendar is $15.95, or you can buy the pair (one of each) for just $25.00. If you’re buying them as gifts, you can also make bulk orders of five, ten or 25 calendars at a discounted rate.
As an organization that is committed to environmental protection, we make sure that our calendars are printed according to the highest possible environmental standard—Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certified paper with 50 to 100% post-consumer content, processed chlorine-free with vegetable-based inks and varnishes to save trees, energy and landfill space. Each month features a different Canadian nature issue, along with a detailed description, special conservation dates, moon phases in Pacific Standard Time and an identification map.
Producing our calendars each year is just one of the ways we have successfully worked for more wilderness and wildlife protection. And now, you can help. By purchasing a Wilderness Committee calendar for yourself or as a gift for a friend, you’ll be making an important contribution to help protect these amazing species and the wild spaces they rely on.
Orders can be made online or by phone at 604-683-8220. For our full range of products, please check out our online store at WildernessCommittee.org/store.
