The Wilderness Committee is calling on its supporters to speak up for the protection of key endangered coastal Douglas fir forests on scarce Crown Lands on Eastern Vancouver Island and the Sunshine Coast. The BC Ministry of Forests and Range is proposing to protect five candidate areas under a Land Use Order through the Integrated Land Management Bureau. For more information on these forest areas see our backgrounder on what we call the five Home Town Forests.
