Environmental groups to announce new forestry lawsuit Thursday

VANCOUVER – Ecojustice, on behalf of the Wilderness Committee and ForestEthics Solutions, will be filing a lawsuit at the BC Supreme Court this Thursday alleging that the province of British Columbia is breaking forestry laws. Immediately following the filing, the groups will hold a press briefing outside the courthouse to describe the suit and answer questions.
A map of the large area in contention will be on display, along with a sample of the endangered forest.
