Keep Glacier Jumbo Wild

For many years the Wilderness Committee has supported our friends in the Kootenays to help prevent a huge ski-resort from being built at Jumbo Pass in the Columbia Mountains, just north of the Purcell Wilderness Conservancy.

If built, this ski resort would sever a critical wildlife corridor and put the local grizzly bear population on a slide towards extinction.

Please support our friends at the environmental group Wildsight by writing a letter to the provincial government regarding this shortsighted proposal to build the Jumbo Glacier Ski Resort. Remember, your voice makes a huge difference, so please take a moment to take action and keep it wild.

Thanks so much!
