Protesters gather ahead of Trudeau visit to Victoria Coast Guard station

Protesters gathered near Huron Street and Dallas Road near the Coast Guard Station where Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is expected this afternoon.
He is slated to meet with Canadian Coast Guard workers at 25 Huron St. and making an announcement on marine safety and oil spill prevention efforts.
Trudeau’s visit comes amid public demonstrations about the Trans Mountain pipeline. Protesters started lining the streets shortly after 2 p.m.
