Public Power Tour coming to a Town Near You

Friday, October 29, 2010

The Wilderness Committee will be joining the BC Citizens for Public Power Tour with Greenpeace International co-founder Rex Wyler in the Kootenays and Sunshine Coast over the next two weeks.

Please join us for a lively discussion regarding the current state of BC rivers and private power. Find out what the Clean Energy Act and California’s Renewable Portfolio Standard mean for your power bill and BC’s wild rivers. Learn how peoples’ willingness to stand up for wild rivers and public power has stopped many river privatization projects right across BC.
