TV News Story - BC's Lost Federal Environmental Reviews

This is a television news story about the federal government abandoning up to 500 environmental assessments for a variety of different projects in BC. As a result of the new Canadian Environmental Assessment legislation, hundreds of projects ranging from hydroelectric facilities to fish farms no longer require federal oversight. The Wilderness Committee's Policy Director Gwen Barlee explains the implications this legislative change will have on ecosystems and species.
