Thursday, May 07, 2020

This is a TV news story about the recent provincial government announcement that Manitoba's fees for outdoor activities like fishing and camping are going up. The Wilderness Committee is calling the fee hike a price gouge, charging that the province is creating a barrier to keep people out of the wilderness. The Wilderness Committee says that the more people that are exposed to nature and wilderness, the more people become advocates and realize that we need to protect it.
