Vancouver rally joins nationwide call to Defend Our Climate

Saturday’s #NoEnbridge event to push for climate action over tankers and pipelines
VANCOUVER – This Saturday, November 16th, thousands of concerned citizens, First Nations, political leaders and environmentalists will come together in Vancouver for an important rally as part of the nationwide day of action to Defend Our Climate and our Communities.
WHAT: The #NoEnbridge event at Science World is one of more than 100 coordinated events happening across Canada, to express unified opposition to rampant fossil fuel development in the face of the most serious environmental challenge of our time: climate change. This rally comes at a critical stage in the ongoing resistance to projects like the Enbridge Northern Gateway tar sands pipeline, as well as other fossil fuel infrastructure including the proposed Kinder Morgan Trans Mountain pipeline and coal ports planned for the Salish Sea.
