Video: Bird River -- Protecting Wilderness and Wildlife

Wednesday, November 25, 2015

The Bird River is a beautiful wilderness area in Manitoba that is home to a wealth of wildlife. It's also accessible for visitors, with popular paddling routes that showcase the region's natural features.

However, the lower stretch of the Bird River remains unprotected from industrial impacts.

The Wilderness Committee is proposing a new protected area to encompass the lower Bird River, to protect it and the surrounding lands for future generations. Please join us in the campaign by sending a letter to the Manitoba government, asking them to permanently protect the lands and waters of the lower Bird River.
