Cuts to environmental regulation have been devastating under the Progressive Conservative government in Manitoba— caring for this planet’s life support system is just not on their agenda. The one bright spot during this government’s destructive reign is the protection of Turtle Mountain Provincial Park from oil and gas development.

Under pressure from people like you, former-premier Brian Pallister removed the land use classification that allowed for oil and gas development in Turtle Mountain Provincial Park. This is a success we can replicate in Whiteshell, Duck Mountain and Nopiming parks.
