Video: Logging destruction in Algonquin Provincial Park
Thursday, April 04, 2019
We made a beautiful discovery in Algonquin Provincial Park last month. While on the ground researching the destructive logging happening in the park, I found a centuries-old survivor. A yellow birch estimated between 250 and 300 years old is located in an active logging area. Logging in Algonquin Park is wrong and destroys the opportunity for biological diversity, like this old birch we’ve nicknamed “Crash.”
