Bus transport

We have arranged school buses to take us out to the Peace Arch Park. Buses will depart at 11 AM from the Wilderness Committee's Vancouver office at 46 East 6th Avenue (a 5 minute walk from Broadway and Main). We will leave the Park at 4 PM for the return journey. Cost: We want to ensure that everyone that wants to come, can come. We will not turn anyone away for lack of funds. If possible, we ask all riders to donate what they can towards the cost of providing the buses. $5-$10 dollars is the suggested amount.

Note: UBC 350 is organizing a separate bus from the UBC campus to the Peace Arch and back. Click here for more info.

We are coordinating carpooling from Vancouver and the Lower Mainland. Please click here to tell us if you need or are offering a ride.

Directions by car, maps and parking

From Vancouver, take Highway 99 southbound and follow signs for the Peace Arch border crossing. Take the last exit before the border, signed Beach Road (and look out for our rally signs!). Then take your second left (ignore the first which leads to the large Duty Free store) and follow the road until you reach the parking lot.
