This is a 1991 Wilderness Committee education report that looks at the low rate of job creation in the BC wood-products industry. The report documents cases of people creating many more jobs per cubic meter of wood than the industry average - and discusses ways of increasing job creation industry wide. The report also warns about the impacts on jobs and environment of continuing to log at too high rates in a futile effort to mitigate the low rate of job creation.
