This is a 1988 Wilderness Committee education report about a grove of old growth cedar trees near Whistler that were under threat of being logged. The Wilderness Committee launched a Pocket Wilderness campaign to stop the logging.
Our campaign was successful and today the ancient cedar trees of Whistler still stand and are now a popular hiking destination.
