This is a 1987 Wilderness Committee education report about the fight to stop an expansion of mining activity in Strathcona Provincial Park on Vancouver Island.
Strathcona is BC's oldest provincial park and has been heavily damaged over the years by logging and mining. The proposed mining expansion at Cream Lake described in this report was eventualy abandoned by the mining company thanks to a determined on-the-ground protest by the Friends of Strathcona Park.
