Vancouver Area Wilderness - It's time to save the few pockets left

This is a 1987 Wilderness Committee education report about the Pocket Wilderness campaign to protect a series of small wilderness areas in southwest mainland BC.
As a result of this campaign a number of these small wilderness areas were protected including:
- Lake Lovely Water - protected in 1988 within the Lake Lovely Water Recreation Area, then in 1999 the Recreation Area was incorporated within the new Tantalus Provincial Park.
- Eagle Mountain - protected in 1995 within Indian Arm Provincial Park.
- Widgeon Lake and Pinecone Lake - protected in 1995 within Pinecone Burke Provincial Park.
- Flora Lake, Greendrop Lake, Lindeman Lake and Radium Lake - protected in 1997 within Chilliwack Lake Provincial Park.
